Saw this in my brother’s church the other day, and it reminded me of the gazillion reasons (or in this poem’s case, eighteen) why I’m so passionate about youth development and empowerment.

I actually just found a tumblr post from one of my past volunteers, Amy, doing exactly this- thanking me for my catalyst role in her own “lollipop moment.”
